Q: How old are you and what age did you start riding?
A: I am 15 years old now and first started riding on a Honda CRF 50 at age 2. My dad built up some training wheels for me.
Q: Who was your biggest influence when you started on two wheels?
A: Probably my dad, Ian. As he was racing in the pro class when I was first introduced to the sport.
Q: What are some of your interests outside or riding?
A: I love being outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, working out and mountain biking are all up my alley.
Q: Current bike?
A: Currently I ride a 2018 Husqvarna TE 150, and a 2017 Husqvarna FC 250 for the dirt, a 2015 Husqvarna FC 250 for flat track, and a 2017 Husqvarna FX 450 in the snow.
Q: Is there anything odd about your current bike setup?
A: Not that I can think of!
Q: A rad moment from the 2017/18 riding season?
A: This past year I attended my first National Hare and Hound in Bellingham Washington, (part of the AMA racing series) and finished first in my class and second overall for the amateur day. Definitely a day I will never forget!
Q: Name a few of your favourite pro riders, past or present.
A: Kurt Casseli, Kailub Russell, Cody Webb, Kevin Windham, Jason Anderson, Dean Wilson, Ryan Sipes, and Thaddy Duvall.
Q: What music have you been into lately?
A: 90s Rock!
Q: A movie you could watch on repeat?
A: Dumb and Dumber.
Q: What gets you stoked?
A: Different types of riding get me really stoked, riding moto or racing flat track once in a while gets me pumped!
Q: Favourite terrain to ride?
A: Fast, flowy and loamy trails are right up my alley, anywhere you can hold'er wide!
Q: Tell us what your driving to your local riding spots.
A: We are currently driving a ford transit van, best race rig ever!
Q: Latest TV/Netflix series binge?
A: MX Nation.
Q: Favourite junk food?
A: I try to stay away from junk food, but corn nuts are my favorite!
Q: Worst Injuries?
A: I crashed my mountain bike pretty bad one time, fairly nasty concussion and a skull fracture with lots of blood loss.
Q: Most recent injury?
A: I broke my arm two years ago riding too close behind someone in their dust. 5 mins into the ride too.
Q: What does “Built to Ride” mean to you?
A: To me, Built to Ride means someone who shares a passion for riding and racing. Whether its motocross, flat track, off-road, or snowbiking, we all have the same passion to ride, and those of us are Built to Ride.
Q: Any last words?
A: I am beyond stoked to be a part of the BTR Race Team. I will be attending the expert class this year which will be a big jump for me coming from junior. However, I am putting in the time to try an achieve success and do the best that I can, this seasons racing has me stoked!
